Five years have passed since the defeat of Piccolo, the world is enjoying a long reign of peace, but this peace is forever shattered when a might Saiyan warrior named Raditz comes searching fo his younger brother, Goku! During his search he comes across Piccolo, and is able to withstand his attacks with incredible ease, after discovering another high power level, Raditz heads towards Kame House to confront Goku, once there he delivers a startling request. Goku must destroy one hundred earthlings by tomorrow, or his son, Gohan, will meet his demise. Raditz quickly defeats Goku and takes his son, now Goku is left with the Saiyan's agonising task if he is ever to see Gohan.
