Fox announces 'Touch' debut, end of 'Mob Doctor'

Fox made it official today: It will burn off the final four episodes of The Mob Doctor on Dec. 29, Dec. 31, Jan. 5 and Jan. 7. Most Mondays through year’s end will now be filled with special programming like the American Country Awards (Dec. 10), holiday programming and Raising Hope repeats.
The network still won’t say Mob is cancelled. (I know; we don’t get it either).
Meanwhile, Fox moved back the return of Touch to Feb. 8 to give it more of a promotional push. The show’s premiere episode is two hours long and features Kiefer Sutherland as a single father who begins a mission with his gifted son Jake (David Mazouz) to help a distraught mom (Maria Bello) locate her missing daughter. The new season also features an appearance by Lukas Haas.

Official word from Fox is that the show isn't canceled, which is technically correct because the network is simply opting to not order more episodes beyond the original 13, but we laymen can use the C-word. The Mob Doctor's vacated Monday 9pm slot will be filled with various holiday specials, Raising Hope, and other things that are way better than The Mob Doctor.
