Carol is disappointed, because now the whole world will see them acting nasty toward each other, and when it happens she gets mad at Frank and makes him sleep on the couch. Dana leads the kids in a mission to save their parents, by everyone being nice for the cameramen. When they do, Carol and Frank make up, just before the act fades away.
