Later, Mutta has dinner with Jennifer and Lowry, Hibito's backup, where he learns the examiner for the final exams will be Takio Azuma, who allegedly holds a grudge against Hibito for being selected to go on the moon instead of him, putting Mutta at a disadvantage.
